浮桥镇位于太仓市东部，东临长江，位于国家级太仓港经济开发区中心腹地。镇域面积160.29平方公里，常住人口7.35万人，流动人口6.45万人。浮桥镇辖区内有企业1300多家，其中规上企业近80家。浮桥镇依托中小企业创业园为平台，重点吸纳优质民营企业，其中“中小企业创业园”被列为“江苏省小企业创业示范基地”。郑和公园、同觉寺、生态农业园、三家市古村落等资源已成为休闲旅游新亮点，吸引了四方宾客纷至沓来。综合实力位居全国千强镇第19位。
Fu Qiao Town is located at the central area of the national-level Taicang Port Economic Development Zone, in the east of Taicang, with the Yangtze River in the east. Fuqiao Town has a land area of 160.29 square kilometers, a permanent resident population of 73500 and a floating population of 64500. It now has more than 1,300 enterprises, including nearly 80 enterprises above designated size. Relying on the platform of the SME Pioneer Park, it focuses on attracting excellent private enterprises. The SME Pioneer Park has been listed as a demonstration base of SME Pioneer Park of Jiangsu Province. The Zheng He Park, Tongjue Temple, Eco-Agriculture Park and Sanjiashi Ancient Village have become new highlights for leisure tourism, attracting visitors from all directions. It’s comprehensive strength ranks 19th among the top 1,000 towns in the country.
